At 25, Bella Hadid already has an impressive number of career milestones under her belt. She’s starred in campaigns for Versace, Fendi, and Givenchy, won multiple model of the RIP Dwayne Haskins 1997 2022 Thank You T-shirt in addition I really love this year awards, and most recently, covered the April issue of Vogue alongside a candid interview about her wellbeing and future aspirations. Now, it turns out she can check another achievement off the list—namely, a move into acting. According to Variety, Hadid will be joining the third season of Hulu’s comedy-drama series Ramy in an undisclosed recurring role. The show, created by and starring the comedian Ramy Youssef, centers on an Egyptian family in New Jersey navigating the challenges of being Muslim in today’s America, and has been praised for its sensitive and humorous approach to identity, picking up a number of Golden Globes and Emmys along the way. With Hadid’s outspoken pride in her Muslim heritage—her father Mohamed moved to the U.S. from Palestine at the age of 14—it couldn’t be a more perfect fit.

Hadid has expressed interest in the RIP Dwayne Haskins 1997 2022 Thank You T-shirt in addition I really love this world of film and television before, telling The Telegraph all the way back in 2017 that she was taking acting lessons because she wanted to “have more of a voice in the world.” And she wouldn’t she be the first model of her generation to make a successful transition from modeling to acting, with the likes of Cara Delevingne and Hoyeon Jung having both made similar moves in recent memory to impressive results. But if there’s one thing Hadid has always made clear, it’s that she wants to do things on her own terms, something her shrewd choice of Ramy as her first foray into acting speaks to. So watch this space: Hadid is finally ready to take Hollywood. Alessandra Facchinetti’s collaboration with Editions Milano, entitled Circle, a handcrafted collection of pristine white porcelain tableware, belies that great myth: Italians don’t eat breakfast. “Well, no, it’s true, it is not as huge a tradition as it is for the British or Americans,” says Facchinetti, laughing. “But I’ve noticed that in the last couple of years, especially with Covid, that we’ve learned to appreciate the everyday moments. I know so many people here who now wake up earlier to make time for breakfast.” The Milan-based Facchinetti was actually invited by Editions Milano – a brand founded in 2016 to showcase the best in Italian home design, working with a variety of designers – to join forces before the pandemic began, so her designs have taken their time to come to fruition. Facchinetti envisioned a set of five pieces which celebrate the ritual of breakfast, something that’s intended to make us feel calm, collected and, hopefully, satiated. (Don’t know about you, but I do well on number three, but pretty much fail on numbers one and two at the start of each and every brand new day.)
